CK’s comments : this blog is hosted at 3iX, the 1st and only web hosting company i’ve used. 3iX probably have the most affordable web hosting plans on the planet. did not have much need to make use of their support services… except when my domain renewal payment was late and this blog was down for a duration of about 8 hours. once payment was in, the site was brought back online promptly. my fault in this case :O)
at US$1 per month for 10GB of space, i don’t think it can get any lower than that. domain registration is also at a cool US9.99 only. access speed is reasonable. uses the CPanel interface which is a breeze to use.

CK’s comments : i’ve known Mr Barry Bahrami (the key man behind CNS) since 2007… and must say that he has an amazing in-depth understanding about what automated / MT4 traders need in a VPS… right down to network latency between their datacenters that hosts your VPS and your forex broker(s). have a look at their Latency Chart and you will know what i mean. if you are a serious trader and expect the most from your VPS provider, CNS is 2nd to none in my opinion. google them and i’m sure you will come to the same conclusion :O)
30-day money back guarantee and boasting a 99.97% uptime, i don’t think you can go wrong with CNS. they are a little more expensive than some other providers, but you get what you pay for.

CK’s comments : one of the 1st VPS providers i used back in 2007, SWVPS is known for it’s amazing value for money. providing 512MB of ram for their most basic Windows VPS plan, they now even throw in 2-months free subscription and double your memory when you sign up for a 12-month plan at US$180.00! this is the best deal i’ve seen by far.
SWVPS also have a 15-day money-back guarantee and an advertised 99.6% server uptime. while i was using it for about 6 months (before moving on to a dedicated server), i’ve not had a need to use their technical support (thankfully). although i can’t vouch for their 99.6% claim, i’ve not experienced any downtime or techincal issues during my stay with them.
however, do note that a VPS is hosted on a SHARED server. server availability and stability may vary from server to server… so if you are lucky and get hosted with customers who do not abuse their VPS, your VPS will most likely behave well. if you are very concerned about performance and availability, i would suggest going for Commercial Network Services (listed above)
notetheless, SWVPS is great value for money hands down!
