the William Boatright interview is now available for download

the interview can now be heard at the following :

if the audio does not stream smoothly, try downloading it to your computer first.  you can then load the MP3 file into your MP3 player and listen to it at your convenience.

the audio recording is approximately 62 mins long.  i urge you to listen to it in it’s entirety as William shared some very pertinent information about his future plans in the last 10 minutes of the interview.

in less than 2 months, Bogie-NN-v8 (now v8b) has doubled the account!  that’s > 100% in 2 months!  you can see the statement here :

if you are interested to try Bogie-NN-v8 for yourself, you can download a demo at http://bogie-enterprises.com/bogie-blog

  • Hello all,

thanks very much to CK, (btw completely unrelated, but I lived and received my education in Singapore so I love Singapore!)

I bought Bogie-NN-V8 and started testing it on my LIVE account, after FED up with FASP of the bogus Marcus Leary.. it is doing excellent so far! its like me hiring an account manager!

well will keep you posted of further development!

thanks for the blog and keep doing this!

yeah sorry ck that just kinda spilled out....
  • hi tdion,
good points made, but i would suggest that you post with more tack in the future. if you can't do that, please refrain from posting.
no one likes to be called a 'moron'. you can still make your points heard by being nice.

Let me follow this up with some more information.

This EA is doing great! It has low drawdown (so far) and has been profitable or break-even the whole time.

What more can you ask for? Honestly, it is outrageous how demanding people are.... I could never sell an EA to the general public for the very reason we see on this blog...

A bunch of moronic complaining. Here's a hint: WRITE YOU OWN EA if you think it is doing so poorly.
  • tdion
    What a joke.

All you freeloaders wanting perfection from an EA. Get real. Its no wonder 95% of traders fail.

I wish I had a nickel for every EA complaint. EAs can't tell you what the price will be 10 minutes or 10 hours from now. CAN YOU DO ANY BETTER? Let's start living in the real world.

PS) Altique, why should Boatwright "compensate for losers"? Clearly there is risk with any predictive forex robot. You knew that before you started.

    Hi CK

I am awaiting for announcement for recent happening from William !!

I've been watching the Halcyon Trend Tracer as an interesting comparison to Bogie.:

    (General Info and Backtest)
    http://www.halcyonfx.com/index.php?id=46

(Live account performance for EURUSD since early May)
    http://www.halcyonfx.com/statements/stat14/statement.htm

So far, the Trend Tracer's backtest and real-time performance have been stable and consistent. It doesn't have months with huge 40%-50% gains, but seems to have a nice, steady equity curve. Of course, 2 months of live trading isn't enough to make a fair judgement yet.

Interestingly, it shorted the EURUSD in the 1.5800 to 1.5500 range, then made some money buying 1.5300 to 1.5400 before the last big drop. It appears to use a somewhat progressive (Martingale-type) money management system. It's not a pure Martingale, though, which can be very risky. The creator of the EA talked about this in an interview on another blog.

    Hi CK

My question is why nn8 has'nt pick up 1000 pips reversal trend ??
It is key to successful trading otherwise members will stop trading with this software.
Can you get an answer from the author please

I think Bill send out to his members sets file for pair E/U, G/U, U/C, and U/J. I received it on Monday 08/04. Immediately I attached bogieNN on 4 charts with given preset, yet only E/U and G/U has triggered trades and they both lost. :-( The other pair U/C and U/J did not execute any trade at all for whole week. But if it did, it would have resulted loss I suspect.

Hi Ck and other, With this being a trend following EA and the downward trend has been occurring over the last 3 weeks why hasn't the NN pick up on trend reversal (downward over 1000 pips) ? I agree with William that trading this EA with the other 3 major currencies is wise but he has not indicated when the set files for those currencies will be ready?? Can you get an answer from him on the set files for the other 3 currencies and why no trend reversal has been picked up by the NN ??

    Hi CK

You must have noticed that this software programme going down hill since 25th July. My demo account lost $5000 plus since that date and it very serious downturn.
You are the main cordinator and you should have some feed back from William. I am not saying I am not interested in this software but if he wants to continue goodwill he must think about how to compensate this loss may be adding some new charts which trade inversely.

Anyone testing the bogie on the other currencies?
  • recent trades looks worrying. seems like Bogie is not optimum in this rather flat and downward-biased EURUSD. the demo will keep going, but i'm going to stay on the sidelines with my LIVE account for a while and just watch.
  • hi Fred,
    thats a question for William.
but i think it works best with a pay-as-you-use model, so that you can stop anytime with no obligations...or as long as the EA performs to justify the monthly sub.
in fact, i feel that all EA vendors/sellers should follow this model as it will oblige them to service and support the subscribers to keep the business.

  • Hi CK,

I've been following your blog for some time now- great work and great reporting on this area of FX!

I haven't yet listened to this interview, but was wondering: Is there any likelihood of a one-time-payment edition of this EA being released? I've been live-testing it myself on a demo account, and it's doing wonderfully, as per your results. However, I don't like the thought of having to pay a monthly 'rent' on something that would be so key to trading.

    Any thoughts?

    -Fred

CK, I have been spending thousands of dollars testing EA's for a LIVE account. I have been doing this for over 2years. Please accept my gratitude for your efforts. I have a blog I have run and you have made comments on and so I know the work that goes into this "Expert Advisor world"! I very much enjoyed your interview with William and to find that "others" are decompiling his work and claiming it as their own and even claiming he was "stealing" from them. GOOD to know the truth!!!!

    Greatest Success ***Dale***
